How PemSync sources its data and the limits of its accuracy. Please verify anything critical against the vendor.

Informational purposes only

PemSync provides software version, release, and lifecycle information for general informational purposes only. While reasonable efforts are made to keep this information accurate, current, and complete, no guarantee is given to that effect.

How versions are detected

PemSync reports the latest version it can detect from the source it monitors for each application — a vendor update feed, release-notes page, or package index. That is not the same as the vendor's own announcement. A monitored source can lag a release, or stop being updated while continuing to return a valid-looking answer. Where a vendor publishes no machine-readable version feed, community-maintained package indexes are used instead and are identified as such on the data sources page. Treat a version shown here as a strong indication rather than an authoritative statement, and confirm against the vendor's own download page before acting on it.

No warranty

All information on PemSync is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Verify before acting

Users are responsible for independently verifying any critical information with the relevant vendor or official source before making operational, security, compliance, purchasing, or business decisions. PemSync should not be relied upon as the sole source for such decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PemSync and its operators accept no liability for any loss, damage, disruption, security incident, or other consequence arising from the use of, or reliance on, information provided on this website.

Security information

Vulnerability and exploitation data (for example CISA KEV, CVE/NVD, and EPSS) is provided for general awareness only. The absence of a vulnerability listing does not mean software is secure, and PemSync is not a vulnerability scanner or a substitute for a security advisory service, patch-management process, or professional assessment. Always verify against the vendor’s advisories and official sources (such as NVD and CISA) before acting.

Vulnerability coverage is partial by design

Vulnerability counts reflect what PemSync could match to an application, not that application's complete vulnerability history. A CVE appears only if it is present in the datasets PemSync ingests, carries machine-readable product identifiers, and those identifiers match the mapping held for that application. Where no such identifier exists, or where mapping would be ambiguous, an application shows no vulnerability data at all. A low or zero count therefore describes the limits of our coverage, not the safety of the software.

Data sources

Information is aggregated from vendor documentation, release channels, publicly available lifecycle datasets, and other sources. PemSync does not control these sources and is not responsible for inaccuracies originating from them.

PemSync may link to third-party websites. PemSync is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of those websites.

Trademarks and affiliation

Software names, product names, company names, and logos are the property of their respective owners and are shown solely to identify the software they refer to (nominative fair use) — not to imply any affiliation or endorsement. We will remove a name or logo on request from its rightful owner.
